Cut Score REM Exam

May 2006
Raul Rodriguez, one of TechLaw's staff consultants, recently participated in a National Registry for Environmental Professionals (NREP) REM workshop tasked to develop a Cut Score for the new Registered Environmental Manager (REM) exam.  Raul is part of a committee looking to obtain ANSI and ISO certification for the program. The committee activities involve taking the exam and reviewing the exam question-by-question to make sure they don't provide answers for other questions, and eliminating any trick questions. The committee evaluated the questions and test to ensure it properly evaluates the candidate’s knowledge, skill, or ability. Raul was involved throughout the process and also focused on questions related to WMD/terrorism, infrastructure, and business continuity.

4x's Outstanding

February 2006

TechLaw once again received an excellent performance evaluation on their EPA Region 3 ROC program. In this ROC 3 program, TechLaw provides remediation oversight support at federal facilities throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. This year 2005 performance evaluation includes a score of 5 out of 5 for cost control, as well as 4 out of 5 for all other categories. This is the fourth consecutive year TechLaw has received outstanding scores on this contract. TechLaw, undoubtedly, references such scores to win new bidssuch as was done for the recent START Region 10 and ESAT Region 1 bids.

Kudos go to Mr. Mohamed Nur and Mr. John Fellinger, who manage this contract, and the entire contract staff on continuing on in an "outstanding" manner!
