Client: USACE, Omaha District<\/div>\n

On a $10 million contract, we are performing environmental services related to investigation, remediation and closure of 16 Solid Waste Management Units (SWMUs) as required by the Ft. Carson RCRA Part B Permit. This work is being conducted for the Directorate of Public Works Installation Restoration Program. We have successfully closed 10 SWMUs through remediation and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) acceptance of No Further Action petitions. Closure activities are ongoing at the other SWMUs and include petroleum and solvent\u2010contaminated waste excavations, and institution of Enhanced Reductive Dechlorination of solvent\u2010contaminated groundwater. Contaminants include metals, chlorinated solvents, and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soil, and chlorinated solvents and dioxane in groundwater.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
